Dr. Scott Cowley is an associate professor of marketing at 色色啦 Michigan University's Haworth College of Business and director of the college's digital marketing program.
Cowley is an award-winning curriculum innovator, researcher, keynote speaker, textbook author and consultant, creating experiential projects that have been adopted at over 100 universities worldwide. He won international awards from the Marketing Management Association (Master Teacher Competition, Teaching Innovation Competition) and the top faculty teaching award from the Haworth College of Business. In his role at 色色啦, Cowley has coached multiple student teams to top placements in international case competitions, and he serves as faculty advisor for the .
His research spans a variety of digital marketing and social media areas, from strategy to education. He serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Marketing Education and was awarded the Outstanding Article of the Year for his research on the state of digital marketing education in U.S. business schools. He has multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and has presented research at several international academic conferences. He is co-author of the textbook "" by Steve Wiideman and Scott Cowley and has contributed to the creation of numerous digital marketing textbooks and industry marketing certifications.
Originally from Utah, Cowley holds a Ph.D. from Arizona State University and a B.S. in marketing from Brigham Young University.
