General summary
Oversees the delivery of family trauma assessments and reports, supervises clinicians and interns in trauma assessment and report writing, and manages trauma training implementation across two agencies.
Major duties
- Supervises clinicians conducting trauma assessments and writing and completing trauma assessment reports.
- Supervises intern and office manager.
- Conducts adult trauma assessments.
- Participates in the planning and vision of the program.
- Oversees clinicians from partner agencies in conducting and completing Adult Trauma Assessments and reports.
Minimum qualifications
Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.
Required education
- Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Required experience
- Two years' relevant experience.
- Experience with trauma assessments.
- Experience administering and classifying Adult Attachment Interview.
Required other
- Licensure as a Master-level Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Michigan.
Physical requirements
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Working conditions
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
