General summary

Serves as the program lead for Student Success Programs. Collaborates closely with department leadership and staff to support and advance Student Success initiatives.

Major duties

  • Leads instructional programs by setting goals, overseeing operations, and serving as the primary representative to University stakeholders.
  • Coordinates marketing strategies for Student Success Services, including crafting comprehensive marketing plans and managing social media content to enhance student and faculty participation.
  • Recruits’ instructors for program participation and maintains communication throughout the hiring process and the semester. Evaluates student employee performance and effectiveness through regular engagement with instructors.
  • Researches and evaluates policies and procedures, incorporating trends and best practices in academic support and success services.
  • Analyzes and interprets Student Success Hub usage data to aid decision making regarding the programs.
  • Creates and implements curriculum for all Student Success Services’ student employees to ensure utilization of practices for campus-wide academic success
  • Reserves classrooms for program review sessions and coordinates with appropriate managers to ensure usage of classrooms.
  • Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates student employees.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution

Required experience

  • Three years’ relevant experience
  • Supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
