  Application deadlines

 On-going; students may be admitted for each semester. Application must be received by February 1 to be considered for a graduate assistantship.

This program does not require a graduate test.

Note: International applicants may have to provide evidence of English language proficiency. More information can be found within the online application.

  Recommendations

This program requires three recommendations. Please send email requests for such recommendations from within the online system.

  Written statement

Please prepare, and attach within the online application system, a statement of 500 to 1500 words detailing your professional goals and your academic and/or career experience to this point.

This program does not require any other program materials to be submitted.

  Transcript requirement

An official transcript from the institution from which you received your bachelor degree is required, as well as a transcript from the institution(s) where any additional graduate level courses or degrees have been taken/completed. Applicants are not required to submit an official transcript of courses taken/completed at É«É«À².

  Additional information

If applying for graduate assistantship, you must submit a separate Music GA application form by February 15. See wmich.edu/music/academics/grad/assistantships. It is also recommended that you contact the appropriate faculty for an interview.

Note: There is a scholarship application available on the department website, which is due to the department by April 1. Please see: wmich.edu/musictherapy/academics/graduate/scholarship
