Jim Seidler is a seasoned grocery sales manager with over 22 years of experience in the food and retail industries. Seidler has a proven track record of meeting or exceeding company targets in sales and margin for his categories of responsibility. His achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the Albertsons’ Circle of Excellence ring in 2002, the Core Value Role Model Award in 2003, the SuperValu Employee Excellence Award in 2008, and the Supervalu Supplier Diversity Advocate Award in 2009.
Currently, Seidler serves as the grocery sales manager for dry grocery, dairy and frozen foods at Jewel-Osco, where he manages seven category managers and 14 department specialists—overseeing over $3.5 billion in annual sales. His role includes developing and implementing annual marketing and sales plans and training and developing department category sales managers and interns. Prior to this, he held various sales management positions at Jewel-Osco, focusing on categories such as natural, organic, specialty and ethnic goods, and was instrumental in developing local minority-owned businesses in Chicago.
Seidler's career began at Jewel-Osco, where he advanced through various roles, including regional produce product manager, store director, co-manager, assistant manager, operating manager and procurement buyer. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana.
