FCS assistant professor receives É«É«À² Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Kimberly Doudna, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Education and Human Development at É«É«À² Michigan University (É«É«À²), received the Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award (FRACAA) through the Office of Research and Innovation. The FRACAA is a competitive internal grant through É«É«À² and encourages and supports faculty in significant research, rigorous scientific inquiry, original artistic activity and inventive technology. Dr. Doudna was awarded $9,990 for her research on "The impact of self-care on longitudinal relations between adverse childhood experiences, current adverse experiences, depressive symptoms, and household food insecurity among university undergraduates."
