CEHD academic advisor receives outstanding professional award

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Andrea Bau, Senior Academic Advisor with the Office of Admissions and Advising in the College of Education and Human Development at É«É«À² Michigan University, is the recipient of the Administrative Professional Association (APA) 2019 Outstanding Professional Award. The award was presented at the APA’s Awards Banquet on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
The award is given annually to an outstanding administrator or professional with five or more years of service to É«É«À² Michigan University and is based on recognized excellence in overall job performance, outstanding service to a specific department or division, contribution to the department/division, willingness to assist beyond normal expectations, dedication to the profession, and initiative or creativity. Bau’s consistent and outstanding work makes her well deserving of this honor. The Administrative Professional Association at É«É«À² Michigan University is an organization committed to advocating for the interests and concerns of its members categorized as salaried/exempt status in the É«É«À² staff compensation system.
