Connecting with others! Building relationships and networking are essentials.
What experiences impacted the choice of your career path?
I have sat at many tables, been in many rooms, attended numerous trainings where no one looked like me. I want to be able to show children, adults, teachers, the community that you can be anything you wish to be, you can do anything your heart desires. Sometimes, you will have to be the trailblazer for a new normal.
What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?
Find great mentors and do not be afraid to ask for help.
