Taylor Dunn, B.B.A.’19

Meaningful Mentor

Service Parts Forecast Analyst,

Out with the old, and in with the new—that is Taylor Dunn’s business model. During her time on the central planning team and as a cost management specialist for John Deere, Dunn was able to lead a project that revamped the organization’s training materials and improved the onboarding process. While in these roles, she has also gained experience coaching stakeholders on requesting purchases and performing monthly reconciliation of cost change projects for five commodities.

In her new role as a service parts forecast analyst, Dunn looks forward to sharing her learning experience with her mentees as her mentors have done with her.

Staying close to her roots, she has held onto her relationship with the ɫɫ Business Externship Program. With her dedication to the program starting during her undergrad career, her responsibilities grew as she entered a full-time position at John Deere, assisting in organizing Q&A panels and crafting the agenda for the program. Now, the torch has been passed to Dunn, and she can’t wait to lead the program for a second year, with the hope of connecting in person with bright students from her alma mater again.

“To this day, I’m not sure that Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa in Thailand can be beat! It was one of the many amazing places we visited on our short-term study abroad with Dr. Duke.”
